This list of Top 100 Plus Design Blogs is used mostly for my personal inspiration. Design Blogs come in many flavors. These flavors are more dynamic than most web docs due to the nature of their creators… designers at heart. I hope you find a blog that you have not seen yet. I will append this list as I see fit… If you have a Design Blog and it’s not on the list (and you think it should be on this Top list) submit your site in the comments. We would all love to have a look see. I’m at 125 design blogs and counting. Here we go (in no particular order)… I was going to just make a list, but decided to put a little more heart into it. Killer Site #9: General Electric’s Smart Grid

Plug into the Smart Grid at GE’s awesome flash website. This site is done in Flash and is pretty much unbelievable. The design is clean and fresh. They show what they call Augmented Reality which involves the use of your webcam. They make great use of the FLARToolkit and PV3D creating a “Digital Hologram”. If you have the time click on over to General Electric’s site and fire up your webcam to experience some very interesting web technology. Some really killer stuff they got goin’ on.

Killer Site #8: Róth Anikós paintings and silk works

What can I say? Beautiful Site – Beautiful Illustrations. Not only are there some awesome illustration works, but the Flash is very well done and very creative. The Flash work and site was done by www.kilfish.com.

Róth Anikós was born in Szekszárd, Hungary. She has quite a long list of exhibitions on her about page. Her work reminds me of something that I can’t quite put my finger on… If you know what it is please comment! But anyways.. enough jibber jabber.. Check out her site… www.rothaniko.hu

Cartype : A museum of automobile typography

I find this website irresistibly intriguing. For those of you that love fonts, typography, and logos and such and know what “posi rear end” means, you may have just stumbled across one of your future favorite websites. I can’t wait to finish this post so that I can go back to the site and check out more of what it has to offer. I was so excited, I just had to let someone know so I opened up Paperflame and started typing. Where was I. Oh yeah, This is an AMAZING site! It is chock full of automobile related designs, emblems, images, news, branding, insight and so much more. A venerable feast for the eyes. Now I just need to figure out what category to put this under? hmmmm. Ok, category – “Typography”, and it also deserves an honorable mention under the “Killer Websites” category. I have a feeling that there will be many “honorable mentions” in the future.
