Great Example of FLAR: Great job with the FLARToolKit!

I was just looking for information on the use of the FLAR technology using Adobe Flash. The FLARToolKit is an AS3 version of ARToolKit and is something really cool to behold. I believe Papervision3D is also used in conjunction with the toolkit to produce something called Augmented Reality. It involves the use of a web cam or such where the sofware can “See” certain shapes that are in the view of a cam and then use those shapes as anchors to project images. I have seen different examples, but this video I found at this blog (projectx4) showing it off is really great… very creative. A great example of the use of FLAR. Kudos guys, well done! I almost wish I had not seen this video, now I am really going to have to download the FLAR toolkit and get to figuring it out. What can I say? Beautiful Site – Beautiful Illustrations. Not only are there some awesome illustration works, but the Flash is very well done and very creative. The Flash work and site was done by www.kilfish.com.

Róth Anikós was born in Szekszárd, Hungary. She has quite a long list of exhibitions on her about page. Her work reminds me of something that I can’t quite put my finger on… If you know what it is please comment! But anyways.. enough jibber jabber.. Check out her site… www.rothaniko.hu

Killer Site #2: Conclave Obscurum

Exquisitely bizarre. If you have ever wanted to see a Website “Twitch”, click on over to Conclave Obscurum. This Russian artist has produced some incredible art. If “Creepy” can be beautiful, he has pulled it off and more. I am not not sure who designed his site, but by the way it reflects the type of art he creates I would guess it was him. He is talented not only in his art but in his understanding of flash animation. Please take multiple moments to view his pages. Each and every image is worth it.
