Depending on when you read this post the Canon 50D has either been released to the masses or it is on it’s way. This looks like a really promising camera. It will surely blend the line between novice and pro. At 15.1 mega pixels it is a camera to be reckoned with. Sportin’ the new Digic 4 technology and improved ISO capabilities all the way up to 12800 this DSLR will be sure to deliver. I just bought (last year) a Canon XSI that should tide me over for quite a while. But the 50D does have me looking at Craig’s List to see what I could possibly get for a used XSI! Canon also upgraded the lcd… the 50D’s 3.0″ lcd has 920,000 dots, technically it is like haveing a full VGA monitor strapped to your camera. At 6.3 frames per second you won’t miss any of the action. You have got to love all the competition between the camera companies. While they try to beat each other up, we just get better and better cameras.
