Sony steps up. Behold their new DSLR-A900.

Well look what we have here. Quite remarkable. Almost leaves me speechless and drooling. Sony is about to release a new DSLR in November. It is called the DSLR-A900, the body alone will be about $3000. At 24.6 Megapixels and sportin’ a 35mm full frame CMOS sensor, this thing is a pixel beast.

The sensor makes use of 6,000 on-chip, column-parallel A/D converters instead of a single analog/digital converter. The result is “reduced noise and high-speed transfer of data.”

Even at 24.6 megapixels, this camera is able to snap off photos at 5 frames per second.

Did I say I’m speechless?   hummanah hummanah hummanah
